The Netflix anime series "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" was released on September 13, 2022, and will feature ten episodes that tell a story seperate from that of the "Cyberpunk 2077" game itself. In celebration of the series, there’s a "Cyberpunk 2077" Patch 1.6 that allows players to get "Edgerunners"-inspired items in "Cyberpunk 2077."

The "Edgerunners" Patch 1.6 update to "Cyberpunk 2077" includes new patches, gigs, weapons, the addition of cross-progression, a new arcade game, and more. CD Projekt, the game’s developer, revealed on Twitter that the best garbage cans to search through in order to find these items are in Santo Domingo.

Due to a staggering amount of bugs and glitches, the initial release of “Cyberpunk 2077” left fans wanting to throw the game into the trash can. It feels ironic that exclusive “Cyberpunk 2077” content is now located in the in-game dumpsters, and only time will tell if the "Edgerunners" series and the items that tease it are trash or treasure.
