Kieran Fisher

• Kieran recently co-edited a book on the films of Quentin Tarantino for McFarland. It will be released sometime in the near future.

• He's a fanboy of John Carpenter, Quentin Tarantino, and Martin Scorsese, but he reserves as much love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, "Fast and the Furious," Gerard Butler, and sitcoms.

Experience

Kieran has worked as a professional writer since 2016. He was the Managing Editor of Diabolique Magazine and contributed to an array of print outlets, including Scream and Starburst. Kieran also worked as a scriptwriter for OSSA Movies and he's provided booklet essays for Arrow Video's "Black Moon Rising," "The Boondock Saints," "JSA - Joint Security Area," and "The Ring Collection" Blu-ray releases. Kieran's work has also been featured on Den of Geek, Fandor, Film School Rejects, and Screen Rant. He joined Static Media in 2020 and has been putting his movie, television, and pro wrestling obsessions to good use since then by creating news articles and features for Looper and Wrestling Inc.

Education

Kieran has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Politics from the University of the West of Scotland. Learning about various philosophies in these fields has helped him discover interesting themes and subtexts in the entertainment he consumes.
