Pokemon Violet And Scarlet Double Pack: What's Included?
The Pokémon Company recently shared more details about the next generation of games, "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet." A new world overview trailer showed off more of the open-world region, as well as some of the people gamers will meet and the places they will go. Nintendo also announced the "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" Double Pack, which lets you pick up both versions of the game in a single package. It also revealed that there will be three stories to follow, although it did not explain all of them in detail. The first is the usual — beat all the gyms and become champion — with the second being a mysterious treasure hunt. It was also previously explained that the creator of "Undertale" Toby Fox would be composing music for "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet."
The trailer additionally revealed the Tera Crystal system, which lets some Pokémon change their type during battle. Players already got to fall in love with the adorable starting Pokémon back when the game was officially announced, but now there's even more to look forward to. But how will gamers decide which version to pick up? For many, the answer lies in the Double Pack. Here is everything you need to know about the "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" Double Pack.
What does Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Double Pack include?
The "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" Double Pack releases on November 18, the same date that both games release. The double pack costs $119.99, which is technically one cent more than if you purchased the games separately. There are two versions of the "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" Double Pack, the physical version and the digital version.
The Physical version will include:
-
One copy of "Pokémon Scarlet"
-
One copy of "Pokémon Violet"
-
The special "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" Double Pack box
-
Two download codes for 100 Poké Balls (only one can be used per save profile)
-
A code for an in-game backpack (pre-order bonus)
The Digital version of the "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" Double Pack includes similar items to the physical version, like copies of both games and download codes for extra Poké Balls, but it also includes a pre-order bonus: a special Pikachu that knows Fly and has the Tera Flying type crystal. This Pikachu can be obtained via the Mystery Gift system in-game. It's important to note that the digital version of the "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" Double Pack does not contain codes for the game and they will instead automatically be tied to the purchasing Nintendo account, so you can't give a copy to a friend.
