How To Unlock Sothis In Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
"Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes," the latest entry in the storied "Fire Emblem" series, was made as a collaboration between Intelligent Systems and Omega Force. As such, the spin-off crosses several of the beloved characters and locations from "Fire Emblem: Three Houses" with the musou-style action-RPG mechanics of Koei Tecmo's "Warriors" franchise. The game is set on the continent of Fódlan during the same time periods as "Three Houses," but explores a parallel story in which events unfold very differently from how they did in the original game.
In "Three Hopes," players will assume the role of a new character who will once again choose one of the three houses to fight alongside in a battle that will decide the fate of the world. Like in many other "Warriors" games, players are able to recruit new playable characters that they can then use throughout the game.
Fans of "Fire Emblem: 3 Houses" will remember Sothis as the goddess who shares a mind with the protagonist Byleth. She is the deity of the Church of Sothis, which in turn runs Garreg Mach Monastery, the place where a majority of the game takes place. Players can actually unlock this powerful deity in "Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes" and have her fight alongside them in the battle for Fódlan's future. Here's how.
You have to beat the game first
Unfortunately, there is no way to get Sothis on the first playthrough. Players first need to beat the lengthy campaign before they are able to recruit her. The good news is that the game doesn't need to be beaten on any particular route or difficulty level, and the Green-Goddess is very easy to get should the player choose to play the game a second time.
Players who want to unlock Sothis should make sure not to spend all of their Renown before the final battle as they will need 60 points in order to get her. Once they have reached any of the game's endings and watched the credits roll, the ability to buy Sothis as a playable character will be unlocked. They can either load their endgame file or start a New Game +. Once the player has unlocked the Base Camp in Chapter 4 (per IGN), they should be able to go to their Personal Quarters and purchase Sothis in the Spend Renown menu under Units. Some of the unlockable characters require the player to complete certain side-quests, but the only requirement for Sothis is that they beat the game.
