Fortnite: How To Unlock The Spider-Man Zero Skin
Rejoice, "Fortnite" fans! A new season of the ultra-popular battle royale recently began, bringing with it a host of fresh features and returning favorites. As always, there's a new Battle Pass with a bevy of skins, sprays, emotes, gliders, pickaxes, and even "Star Wars" legend Darth Vader. "Star Wars" isn't the only property "Fortnite" partners with, of course. Marvel has teamed up with Epic Games on plenty of occasions. In fact, "Fortnite" is Marvel canon.
It's no surprise, then, that a brand new Spider-Man skin is now available to celebrate the launch of the "Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War" comic book series. Running for five issues, the "Zero War" saga promises to "leave a tremendous impact on both universes." The crossover introduces another costume for the old web-head: the Spider-Man "Zero War" Suit. Not only can you admire the new outfit in the "Zero War" comic book, but you'll be able to equip it in "Fortnite."
Multiple methods for unlocking the Spider-Man Zero Suit
For the dedicated Spidey fan, acquiring the "Zero War" Suit couldn't be simpler (via Epic Games). Purchasing a physical, first-print edition issue #1 of the "Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War" comic book will net you a redeemable code to unlock and equip the slick new skin within your "Fortnite" file. Things get a bit trickier if you decide to pick up the comic digitally via Marvel Unlimited. Those with a paid subscription and registered account will have to read all five issues in the "Zero War" series before October 28, 2022 if they want to receive the "Fortnite x Marvel" cosmetics (which include the "Zero War" Suit and the five others listed below).
Whether physical or digital, fortnite.com/redeem will be your destination for entering the code and swinging into action. There are also plans to give players access to further Marvel collectibles when purchasing the subsequent issues within the "Zero War" series. They'll include an Iron Man Wrap for weapons, a Wolverine Pickaxe, and a "Fortnite x Marvel" Spray and Loading Screen. You can even score another outfit by unlocking all the cosmetics in the collection.
If you aren't too keen on purchasing some comics but really want the skin, worry not. Epic has said that the "Zero War" Suit will be available in the future through the "Fortnite" in-game store. While it's unclear when that will be or how many V-Bucks it will cost, it's nice to know that there will be multiple options for acquiring the skin.
