Why You Should Wait To Do Pokemon Legends: Arceus' 'Big Buizel, Little Buizel' Quest
"Pokemon Legends: Arceus" has taken the classic Pokemon formula and turned it on its head, creating a new open-world style game complete with dodge rolling. One of the many changes includes the addition of requests, which serve as side quests. These requests can be anything from bringing someone specific items, to showing them a Pokemon with a unique trait. "Pokemon Legends: Arceus" also adds other new mechanics, like Agile-style and Strong-style moves and research tasks. All of these new details came together to create a great game, one that received high praise from critics, even if the open-world occasionally has framerate issues.
Completing requests usually rewards players with items or currency, so it would make sense to complete them as soon as possible. However, some requests become much easier to complete if you wait until you have progressed further into the game. One of the earliest requests can be extremely frustrating to complete right away, especially when players could just wait until later.
The trick to completing 'Big Buizel, Little Buizel'
According to Kotaku, the "Big Buizel, Little Buizel" request requires you to find a large Buizel to show to one of the villagers. The issue with this objective is that getting a larger Buizel that isn't an Alpha is an exercise in luck. Non-Alpha Buizels all look the same size in the open world, so players just have to keep catching them until they get a bigger one. However, there is an easier way to complete this request.
Once players quell Kleavor's fury, which is the boss fight of the first region in the game, Alpha versions of all Pokemon found in the Obsidian Fields will begin spawning. This means that players can (relatively) easily find an Alpha Buizel, which will be big enough to meet the request requirements. Of course, Alpha Pokemon are dangerous and powerful, capable of using some of the most powerful attacks in the game so tread carefully. For anyone looking to hunt down Alpha versions of other Pokemon, keep in mind that beating that region's boss causes more Alpha Pokemon to spawn, although they will probably be too powerful for you to beat right away.
