How Long Does It Take To Beat No More Heroes 3?
The critically acclaimed, hack and slash game "No More Heroes 3" was released on August 27, 2021. The new release came 11 years after the second game in the main series, "No More Heroes 2," and critics had a lot of great things to say about the third installment in the series. Now, some players are starting to wonder how long the game takes to complete.
The point of the game is to "fight your way to the top of the Galactic Superhero Rankings," according to the title's Nintendo page. Players take control of Travis Touchdown to fight off the evil Prince Fu, all the while doing menial jobs like lawn mowing in order to fund his campaign.
Combined with the wacky sense of humor that the series boasts, the game's an unpredictable adventure. Just remember the M-rating attached to it — gamers will definitely want to avoid playing this in front of their parents. Travis' lofty goal to be the best and beat the rest takes a decent chunk of time, especially compared to past games in the franchise.
Longer than previous No More Heroes games
According to The Washington Post's review, "No More Heroes 3" takes about 15 hours to complete. This actually lines up with what Suda51, the developer behind the game, has said in the past as well.
In an interview with GameXplain, Suda51 said that the game should take between 15 and 20 hours to complete for people playing on easy or normal mode. This number also included a few side quests, as players are bound to complete a couple throughout the game. Of course, play time will still vary for some gamers who want to explore everything. According to How Long to Beat, the game only took ten and a half hours for one user.
In general, this is a longer campaign than fans have seen from other "No More Heroes" games, including the spinoff game "Travis Strikes Again," which only took around 12 hours to beat.
