Injustice 2 Trailer Introduces Catwoman

Selina Kyle is on the prowl in the latest gameplay trailer for Injustice 2, the upcoming fighting title featuring the guys and gals of the DC Comics universe.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment unveiled the new video on the game's official YouTube page. It stars Selina Kyle (better known as Catwoman) as she faces off against Harley Quinn and her pack of feisty canines, goes head-to-head with the Dark Knight, and delivers devastating blows to Poison Ivy.

In the trailer, Catwoman is quick as a whip (literally), dashing about the fighting stage with ease and outsmarting her opponents. The feline femme fatale is shown summoning a companion of her own to throw off the competition. She also gives new meaning to a "real drag" when she jumps aboard her motorbike and pulls a tied-up Harley Quinn behind her. Ouch.

Warner Bros. also dished on what the leather-clad heroine will get up to in Injustice 2: "Consistently walking the line between hero and villain, Selina Kyle's pilfering past as Catwoman prevents Batman from ever placing his full trust in her. As the ashes of the Regime give rise to the sinister Society, the Caped Crusader must once again speculate where this thieving feline's loyalties lie."

Injustice 2 is set for release on May 16 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While we wait to see Catwoman in action, check out the other games we predict will blow everyone away in 2017.
