Amouranth Explains How She Makes Over $1 Million A Month
Amouranth is one of the biggest names in the streaming world these days, and she's seen her fair share of criticism in the past because of her sometimes-risque content and occasional glimpses at her shady side. Even Twitch has taken a stance on the streamer's content in the past, banning her for of her steamy ASMR streams. The bans came soon after the platform demonetized her account for a bit, which Amouranth revealed cost her thousands of dollars in damages during the brief period. Now, the star has broken down how she is able to rake in over $1 million monthly.
On June 28, Investment Talk posted an interview that discussed how an anonymous OnlyFans star rakes in $1.4 million a month. The interview included a pretty detailed breakdown of monthly income and screenshots from OnlyFans as proof. Two months after the article was published, Amouranth revealed on Twitter that she had participated in the interview, confessing every last bit of her financial details.
One of the screenshots from the interview included the amount Amouranth made from OnlyFans in May 2021. During that month, the streamer earned $1.1 million, and she claimed her earnings had plateaued at that amount for four months. Combined with revenue from other platforms, Amouranth brings in quite a bit of cash per month. However, fans may be surprised by just how Amouranth's income adds up.
Twitch, Instagram, and Patreon are bringing in some serious dough
In the spotlight with Investment Talk, Amouranth counted the rest of her revenue, breaking down her multiple revenue streams. For instance, in the month of May, her Patreon account alone earned her roughly $189,000 a month. Between TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch, she makes about $133,000 a month, a figure she called "volatile," due to the unpredictability of the platforms. Sponsored posts on Instagram earn Amouranth between $10,000 to $25,000 a month, while sponsored Twitter posts bring in roughly $5,000-$15,000.
Amouranth also pointed out that she makes $17,000 a month from Fansly, a newer platform that she's been growing for the past few weeks now. Amouranth mentioned on Twitter that she'll be focusing more on Fansly in the future.
Amouranth also revealed in the interview that she is a pretty heavy investor, and she mentioned that she's saving money for when/if she loses popularity. She doesn't believe in spending all her hard-earned money and focuses on accumulating wealth when possible. She told Investment Talk that demystifying investments for followers is "a great way to potentially reduce the stigma of this industry, and the creators who lie within it."
Considering the recent reports that OnlyFans will be banning sexual content in the future (via CNBC), Amouranth's monthly revenue may change in the future. This may be when the switch to Fansly will become a necessity. In the meantime, it seems that Amouranth has invested her time and energy into smartly using her money, no matter what her future holds.
