These Are The Best New Skins In Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 6

Fortnite: Chapter 2 - Season 6 kicked off on March 16, 2021. Alongside the new "Primal" theme and Battle Pass, Season 6 introduced a wealth of new content, features, and cosmetics, including a crafting mechanic and never-before-seen weapon classes. As with previous seasons, Epic has also provided players with a number of options for customizing the appearance of their character, ranging from fresh gliders and back bling to weapon wraps.

For those who like to stand out from the crowd, skins (outfits) and skin variants (styles) offer some of the best options for showing off your personal flare. Epic has released a steady stream of choices for collectors since Primal debuted, with several skins and variants dropping via the shop, quests, or Battle Pass. If you have limited time, money, or patience to invest, here's a look at some of the best Fortnite skins Season 6 has to offer.

Bun Bun gets the job done done?

While Season 6 has introduced several winning skins, few are quite as off the wall as Bun Bun. The (presumably) edible rabbit and accompanying Chocolatey Wrap hit the Shop just after Easter on April 11 and fans just can't seem to satisfy their sweet tooth.

YouTuber PIZO ran through some Bun Bun gameplay before commenting on his "very creative outfit." While he didn't plan on using the skin very much, he suggested that it was a good addition for niche collectors and appreciated the unique design. As commenters were quick to point out, sprinkles and other treats fall off of Bun Bun when he jumps, further distinguishing him from other characters.

Overall, players seem to view Bun Bun as the perfect mix of cute and scary, with one viewer stating, "If i [sic] saw bun bun I'd be terrified. He looks like a buff bunny inmate."

Battle Pass owners won't want to miss Lara Croft and Rebirth Raven

The Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 6 Battle Pass features several impressive skins, including Tarana, Raz, Cluck, and Spire Assassin. However, its two crossover characters stand out from the crowd, largely because of how well Epic handled the designs for the heroines.

Based on Raven from DC's Teen Titans, the Rebirth Raven skin unlocks when you hit Tier 77 of the Battle Pass, as documented by YouTuber KingAlexHD. In addition to the base version, you can snag two style variants: Raven (Classic) and Rachel Roth. Raven (Classic) unlocks automatically at Tier 85; however, you can only secure the Rachel Roth skin by reaching Tier 77 and completing 70 Season 6 Epic quests. As seen in various YouTube comment sections, Teen Titans and Fortnite fans alike seemed pleased with Rebirth Raven's design, responding with praise such as "The raven skin is litteraly [sic] godly" and "This is my new main now."

Iconic Tomb Raider protagonist Lara Croft also debuted in the Fortnite universe as part of the Season 6 Battle Pass. Croft's base skin unlocks automatically at Tier 15, while the Lara Croft (Classic) and Lara Croft (25th Anniversary) variants unlock after hitting Tier 15 and Tier 22 respectively. The Classic style also requires completing 31 Epic Quests. While players seemed excited with all three options, some Twitter users seemed especially pleased with the design of the Classic version.

Isabelle may help make one artist's dreams come true

Isabelle made her Fortnite debut on March 20, 2021 as part of the Oakwitch Set. Content creator VALtheVAL walked players through the skin's many highlights, including a special built-in emote that allows you to switch between two styles during matches. The basic skin and the hooded variant activated by the emote also come with two different color schemes, providing even more options. Commenters on the video showered the skin and its quirks with a great deal of praise, with one even sharing: "This is the first original skin i [sic] bought since Season 2."

Beyond offering a unique skin experience, Isabelle's design was inspired by Denni, a popular Fortnite concept artist. According to an April tweet, Denni dreams of joining the art team for Fortnite — a goal that may be in reach, as this is the second time one of their creations has made it into the battle royale. As detailed on Denni's ArtStation, Isabelle began as an idea for "a remixed version of Calamity from Season 6" before Epic purchased the concept and turned it into an actual skin.

Agent Jonesy finally gets his time to shine

John Jones, or Agent Jonesy, first appeared in Fortnite as part of the Chapter 2 – Season 2 live event "The Device." Jones has enjoyed an increasingly prominent role in the ever-expanding Fortnite mythos — which might explain why he's voiced by one of gaming's most prolific actors, Troy Baker.

Given the part Jones has played in recent seasons, especially the reality hopping Season 5, many players were left wondering if he would ever appear as a Fortnite skin. Epic finally delivered in Season 6, featuring Agent Jones as the Tier 1 skin for the Battle Pass. Beyond the base skin, players can unlock five skin variants themed around different jumps.

Content creator iTankid detailed the different Agent Jones styles and the Challenges you need to complete to snag them in a March 2021 video. Based on the comments section, players were quite taken with Agent Jones and his variants, with one person stating "he lowkey fine." It seems this is one skin that was worth the wait.
