It Seems Fall Guys Has Another Crossover Up Its Sleeve
As chaotic and competitive as Fall Guys is, at its core, it is still a very cute-looking and colorful game. However, it looks like Fall Guys is gearing for a crossover with a franchise that couldn't be anymore different from this adorably addictive multiplayer game.
In a recent tweet, the official Fall Guys Twitter account teased a silhouette of what looks like a new armorclad character skin. At first glance, it's a bit hard to make out what it could possibly be. But not to worry, the Twitter account dropped even more hints by interacting with the official Twitter account for Doom.
"Bean thinking of you @FallGuysGame," Doom's Twitter account wrote. Fall Guys replied, "weird, I had an impending sense of...doom."
Based on this interaction with Doom and the image Fall Guys dropped, it's pretty safe to say that this new giant armor skin is more than likely based on the iconic shooter series' Doom Slayer. Fans of both Fall Guys and Doom should be prepared to rip and tear their way through the competition once this new skin gets released.
This isn't the first time Fall Guys has had a crossover with another franchise. In October, Fall Guys collaborated with Sonic the Hedgehog to create a skin based off Sega's iconic blue mascot. The Sonic skin was available for a limited time, so it's more than likely that the Doom Slayer skin will also follow the same rule. And just like the previous skins, players should be ready to gather as many crowns as they can get if they want to get their hands on the Doom Slayer skin.
Additionally, Fall Guys is also teasing new content for its upcoming season on Twitter. The company recently tweeted out concept art for a small penguin on wheels that has been dubbed "Pegwin," and is currently conducting a poll for what to call a new swinging bell hazard ("Ringus Dingus" is currently in the lead). What is known so far is that Season 3 will have a winter theme, new costumes to collect, and plenty of new traps to avoid. Mediatonic, the company behind the game, has promised to reveal more information at this year's Game Awards.
There are just only eight days left of Fall Guys Season 2, which means players who are still unlocking crowns and rare skins only have a limited time to gather these rewards. At the moment, there is no release date for Fall Guys Season 3 or the Doom crossover.
