This Is How To Unlock Calamity Ganon In Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity allows you to play as many different characters as you learn more about the events that happened 100 years before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild begins. These characters include Zelda herself, Link, Impa, Revali the archer, Daruk the Goron warrior, Mipha the princess of the Zora, and Urbosa the chief of the Gerudo. The epic war portrayed within the back-and-slash game is a perfect way of telling the story of Hyrule's fall.
One character that gets plenty of attention within the game is the main antagonist: Calamity Ganon. Hyrule Warriors lets players understand his origin and even unlock him as a playable character. However, if this is something you want to do, you're going to have to put a bit of effort in. Here are the steps you need to take if you'd like to unlock Calamity Ganon in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
This isn't going to be easy, though
As a pre-requisite the first thing you need to do to unlock Calamity Ganon is to beat the game — including all 20 story quests. You'll also have to unlock the bonus playable character Terrako first.
Once you complete the main story, Terrako quest icons will appear across the map. You'll have to locate 50 parts to fix the tiny egg-shaped machine cutie. Some are easy to obtain through trade or farming or using your resources; others are a bit more involved. It's a combination of material and challenge quests that lead you to a secret ending and Terrako's awakening cutscene.
You'll also have to have a character make it up to Level 74 and complete all the challenges (over 150) in order to open up a mission called Versus Calamity Ganon. If you can beat Astor, Harbinger Ganon and Calamity Ganon in 12 minutes without the need for any healing, you will unlock Calamity Ganon as a final, playable character.
YouTuber Koragg Wolzard *WolfThunderRanger* called the process "a grind." However, it certainly adds more playability and fun to a game that's gotten plenty of praise since it came out on Nov. 20.
