There are multiple editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War available, including a Cross-Gen Bundle and the game's Ultimate Edition. For PlayStation users, these two versions include both the PS4 and PS5 iterations of the game. This is a major convenience for PS4 owners who intend on eventually getting the PS5, but a potential source of confusion for some who recently purchased the PS5.

Upon purchasing the digital version of either the Cross-Gen Bundle or the Ultimate Edition on the PlayStation Store, players will be given the choice of which parts of the bundle to download.
