What Characters Are In Resident Evil 3 Remake?
Fans said goodbye to Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and even Ada Wong in Resident Evil 2 Remake. Despite Resident Evil 3 Remake serving as something of a prequel, you shouldn't expect these characters to make a cameo in the new game. Rather, Resident Evil 3 Remake centers on Jill Valentine and the few people tough enough to survive an overrun Raccoon City.
Jill Valentine is a S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) officer from the Raccoon Police department. In the original Resident Evil game, she and her team discovered a mansion/lab in the Arklay Mountains outside of the city filled with monsters and mayhem handcrafted by the Umbrella Corporation. She was separated from her teammates (including Claire Redfield's brother) and made her way back to Raccoon City, only to discover the streets overrun with zombies as a result of Umbrella's T-virus.
This isn't exactly a good look for Umbrella, so the pharmaceutical company takes steps to erase any evidence of its connection to the T-virus, including sending the monstrous Nemesis after Jill. This ugly brute serves as the main baddie in the game. Umbrella also deploys the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) to ensure no one blames Umbrella for the disaster and to see who would win in a fight: professional killers or killer mutants?
Mutants win. Who would have guessed? In the end, only a few U.B.C.S. members manage to survive, including Carlos Olivera, the shaggy-haired commando you may have noticed on the cover of the remake. Throughout the game, you'll run into a handful of his comrades: Mikhail Victor, Murphy Seeker, Tyrell Patrick, and Nicholai Ginovaef. You'll also encounter a whole host of mutants, monsters, and other terrors, so don't expect all these newfound acquaintances to make it out of Raccoon City alive.
