Wolfenstein: Youngblood Update Adds New Missions, Maps, And More
Update 1.0.7 has gone live, bringing new missions, maps, abilities and more to Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Youngblood players have lots of free content to unpack. Treasure Hunt, a new side quest, introduces two completely new areas: a Parisian reservoir and a secret Nazi bunker. You'll take on three new enemy types—the Wurmlochsoldat (Teleporting Übersoldier), the Electrodrohne (Tesla Drone) and the Turmhund (Laserhund with a turret)— in a race to unlock a sealed chest that supposedly contains an item related to the God Key.
To start Treasure Hunt, you first need to complete the endgame side mission Da'at Yichud Artifacts. Upon finishing the new side quest, 20 Treasure Maps will appear in the Missions tab of your journal. These maps lead to artifacts scattered across Paris. You'll receive XP, Silver Coins and one Ability Point for each artifact you collect.
All three ability trees—Mind, Muscle and Power—now have new abilities to test out, such as Quick Revive (Mind), Dual Wield Expert (Muscle) and Silent Killer (Power). God Key Sense, a new Power ability, will play a key role in locating treasure hidden around the world. Everyone who completes the Da'at Yichud Artifacts mission will receive God Key Sense for free, giving you one of the tools you'll need to take on Treasure Hunt.
The update adds two new Pep Signals inspired by id Software titles: Hammer Rage and Quad Damage. Hammer Rage restores weapon ammo while Quad Damage, as the name suggests, allows you and your sister to deal quad damage for four seconds. There's also a lineup of eight new skins for your character to wear into battle, including the Bomber skin, the Chrome Syndrome skin, and the Bloodthirst skin.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood Update 1.0.7 is available now for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
