Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Unveils The Unseen As Final Faction
Paradox Interactive has unveiled the Unseen, the final faction for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, the upcoming sequel to the 2004 cult classic from Troika Games.
The Unseen hide in plain sight among Seattle's many homeless, drifters, and transients, avoiding the prying eyes of both humans and other vampires. Led by the Council of Three—"The Speakers" to the Nosferatu clan—the Unseen have long survived in the shadows, collecting information and nursing grudges. The younger Nosferatu have spun this legacy into more legitimate professions, working as journalists, engineers, and hackers in pursuit of their faction's goals.
While some vampires view the Unseen as nothing more than a den of thieves and beggars, they've grown into a formidable force in the Seattle nightlife. They've been entrenched in the city's underbelly for a very, very long time. You may not see them but they see you, and they know exactly what you're hiding and who to sell the information to.
Outcasts and misfits, the Unseen have formed a tight-knit community, demonstrating unprecedented loyalty to their fellow Nosferatu. While the Pioneers sought wealth, art, and power, those who did not fit their vision were pushed to the side and encouraged to stay out of sight. The Nosferatu have since found their home in Seattle's Underground amidst the cast-offs and strays, forging their differences—their uniqueness—into a unifying force.
In Bloodlines 2, you play as a freshly made vampire who gets caught up in the investigation of the Mass Embrace, an unsanctioned attack during which several humans were turned or killed without warning or explanation. Caught between Seattle's political powers, you'll need to recruit allies to solve the mystery and survive the nights to come. The Unseen are one of five factions you can choose to join, in addition to the five vampire clans which dictate how your vampiric powers will evolve.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 releases for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in Q1 2020.
