MrBeast Employee Fires Back At Fake Video Claims
MrBeast has been best known as the internet's biggest philanthropist for quite some time now, and that reputation has helped him grow one of the biggest online communities in history. MrBeast's YouTube channel has over 300 million subscribers, and his videos regularly pull in more than 200 million views. Fans show up to watch him give away houses and money, stage epic competitions, and offer regular people the chance to change their lives forever. However, a former MrBeast employee has come forward to claim that MrBeast's crew fakes just about everything on their channel.
In a nearly hour-long video, YouTuber DogPack404 gives an insider perspective on MrBeast's operations, which he claims aren't nearly as selfless and generous as fans believe. According to DogPack, MrBeast rigs some of his competitions, scripts videos to make them more exciting, and outright fakes some of his biggest stunts with CGI. DogPack claims that MrBeast is much shadier than the genuine creator he presents himself to be, and that MrBeast only works with acquaintances to cover up the seams. These claims aren't going unchallenged, however, as another MrBeast employee has come forward to forcefully push back against DogPack's video, which has quickly gone viral.
A current MrBeast employee calls out the viral video
On X (formerly Twitter), a MrBeast employee named Chucky decided to get into some of the biggest claims made by DogPack in his MrBeast video. Chucky runs MrBeast's Ideas & Thumbnail Team, and according to him, DogPack didn't have nearly enough experience with MrBeast to glean the insider information he claims to have.

Chucky begins his post by writing, "It was my decision to fire [Dogpack] for erratic behavior, he worked at the company for less than a month and wasn't an employee for most of the videos he mentions to have knowledge on." Chucky claims that DogPack only worked for MrBeast from March 25 to April 19 in 2024. Addressing DogPack's claim that only people who know MrBeast or his employees personally get to be in videos, Chucky said, "This is a wild statement that can easily be proven wrong." A number of commenters have since backed up this point, noting that they were randomly chosen for videos and giveaways without knowing MrBeast personally.
He went on to address some of DogPack's other big claims. Chucky said that the entire team has been very open about the fact that they do use CGI in some videos to make some background elements look better, but swears that they never CGI to fake scenes outright. He also said that none of MrBeast's competitions are scripted and vehemently denied the accusation that MrBeast stages some of his giveaways. Chucky wrapped up his lengthy statement by writing, "Jimmy spends unfathomable amounts of money and time to ensure the integrity of what he does and I hate to see it come into question with a bunch of lies."
DogPack isn't backing down
Less than an hour after Chucky made his post addressing DogPack's claims, DogPack came back around with a long post of his own.
Debunking your debunking:
Good character assassination attempt, you leave out my unpaid trial period and also my time working for Idea Guys, a company for which MrBeast is a client. The founder of idea guys also had to get permission from MrBeast to hire me, so weird you guys...

Calling Chucky's post a "good character assassination attempt," DogPack offered counterpoints to each of the statements that Chucky tried to debunk. DogPack's response to Chucky doesn't offer up new evidence beyond what was in his original video. However, it does try to support some of his claims by pointing people to another video called "The Disaster Facing MrBeast," which was posted by UpperEchelon on YouTube just two days after Dogpack's original video.
half of this is "erm.. you expect people to believe you?!" like pal you expect people to believe YOU?

Several onlookers have commented that the argument between DogPack and Chucky doesn't offer much beyond anecdotal evidence, so most commenters are seem to be choosing sides based on preexisting biases. There's no doubt that people will keep digging into the claims on both sides — but MrBeast himself, who's currently embroiled in a scandal involving former crew member Ava Tyson, isn't likely to weigh in anytime soon.
