The Internet Is Not Holding Back On Kai Cenat/North West Collab
Kai Cenat has been at the center of the internet's attention since he blew up in 2023, and people can't help but comment on just about everything that he does. This past weekend, Cenat met up with another family the internet is always talking about, so naturally people are buzzing about it. Kim Kardashian invited Cenat over for her daughter's birthday because Cenat happens to be North West's favorite streamer. The 11-year-old certainly isn't the only kid out there who's a huge fan of Cenat, but the internet can't stop talking about the fact that she actually got to meet the streamer.
Pictures of the meeting migrated from Cenat's Instagram story to the Reddit page for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," and commenters there were actually upset to see the 22-year-old streamer hanging out with Kardashian's daughter. "This 11 [year-old] child does not need to be on a Twitch stream with a grown man I'm sorry but is getting very weird," wrote one commenter. Other posters found their own reasons to be upset. Some view this as Kardashian forcing her daughter to become a child star, and others think that this was just set up to irritate Kim's ex Kanye West, who feuded with Cenat earlier this year. Seemingly everyone has their own opinion about why this particular meetup never should have happened, but Cenat isn't letting all the comments go without his own clapback.
Kai doesn't think the meeting was weird at all
This particular controversy isn't quite as intense as the time Kai Cenat got arrested, but there's still enough internet buzz happening that the streamer has taken notice. He doesn't appreciate the comments that are rolling in, and the response he gave on his stream has started making the rounds online. "To everybody who literally made yesterday weird, you're being so weird, bro," Cenat said. He went on to explain that he was invited to Kardashian's house simply because North West wanted to meet her favorite streamer. He said that he knows plenty of parents with kids who enjoy his content, and that he'd be happy to meet any and all of his fans, given the chance. Some fans agreed with Cenat and compared the meeting to any other chance a kid might take to meet their favorite celebrity.

Others thought this meeting was fine, and blasted the detractors who compared Cenat's behavior to celebrities behaving inappropriately with underage fans. Not everyone is okay with Cenat here, though. Some still think it's odd that he's making content, like the vlog he plugged at the end of his response, with an 11-year-old kid.

It doesn't seem like Kai is letting the negative response get to him, though. After setting the record straight, he went back to chilling and chatting normally with his viewers for the rest of the stream.
