Pato Box Developer Unveils New Platformer Greak: Memories Of Azur

Mexico-based studio Bromio, best known for their surreal fighting game Pato Box, has revealed their next project: a hand-animated side scrolling adventure.

In Greak: Memories of Azur, Bromio leaves the duck in the ring, instead telling the story of Greak, Adara and Raydel, three siblings forced to flee from their home in the wake of an invasion. Once all the characters have joined your party, you can switch between them on demand, using their unique abilities to escape the vicious Urlag.

"Greak is the name of the main character, and the smaller brother of three. He belongs to a magical race called the Courine, which is currently under the attack of an enemy invasion from a faction called the Urlag," revealed the publisher. " Greak's goal is to reunite with his brother and sister and then escape the lands of Azur by building a zeppelin piece by piece. Through the game, you will find each sibling in different situations, and once you do, they will join the adventure and help you progress through the game."

Each sibling possesses special skills that you must call upon to solve puzzles and fight enemies. Greak, the youngest of the trio, is swift and agile. His small size also allows him to slip through cramped spaces and he wields a sword gifted to him by his older brother. Adara, an apprentice of the Prya monastery, uses levitation and diving to explore her surroundings. She can also unleash magical ranged attacks. Raydel, draws upon his status as one of Azur's best warriors, using sword and shield to forge a path forward. In a land overrun by invaders, resources are scarce, forcing you to manage your items with care.
