Kai Cenat Got Leaked And He's Threatening To Sue
Kai Cenat blew up on Twitch in 2022 and 2023, and since then he's been at the center of several big stories. Just over a year ago, Cenat was celebrating shattering a Twitch subscriber record, but things swung the other way towards the end of the year when Cenat threw an impromptu event that became a New York riot. If there's one thing that Cenat's fans can rely on, it's that their favorite streamer will never leave them on a dull moment. Cenat is making headlines again, but this time he isn't exactly the one making the news. This time, a woman has posted photos of herself in bed with a sleeping Cenat on X (formerly known as Twitter). The leaks include a short clip of the apparent leaker claiming that if Cenat had paid her money she was owed, she never would have made her post. The account where the leaks originated has since been deleted, but nothing ever goes away on the internet.
Yes, these leaks are everywhere, which naturally means that Cenat has seen them. He's already addressed the situation on his channel, but he's not stopping there. Cenat is responding in a big way, making some dramatic moves online and threatening legal action against the leaker.
Kai's all-out response
Kai Cenat isn't one to keep his thoughts to himself, and he wasted no time in addressing these leaks. On his stream, Cenat explained to fans that he fully intends to sue the woman who posted the leaks. He also attempted to shed some new light on what actually happened between. Cenat alleges that the leaked photos were originally taken in the early part of 2023, and he seemed baffled why all of this would be coming up now. Cenat probably could have stopped there, and that would have been enough for his fans, who would have anxiously waited for more details about the lawsuit. That's not exactly Cenat's style, though, so he took things a step further.
Cenat has gathered more evidence of his interactions with the leaker, showed it all on stream, and then collected all of the clips and posted them on a website he registered — a website that apparently uses the leaker's first and last name as its domain. Talk about going scorched Earth. Cenat's proof includes a clip showing his Apple Pay history, presumably to clear up rumors that he had paid the leaker a substantial amount of money to get her to come over to his house in the first place. His phone shows just one $50 payment, which Cenat claims was to pay for her Uber ride. In another clip, Cenat shares a recording of a conversation between himself and the alleged leaker, during which he accuses her of threatening him with footage taken without his consent. In response, she challenges him to call the police.
Still plenty of unanswered questions
The leaker has responded to all this news via some Instagram stories, which are being quickly screen-grabbed and shared online by Cenat's fans. Right now, the only photos that have actually been leaked are pretty tame, but the leaker claims to have much more intimate photos and videos that could come out in the future. For the most part, the internet seems to be on Kai's side. X has been flooded with comments calling for Cenat to sue his leaker, and some have even recommended that he reach out to the police, since his privacy has apparently been violated in ways that have not yet come to light.
Not everyone fully believes his side of the story, though. Some are approaching the situation with a healthy dose of skepticism, noting that Cenat's proof could pretty easily be arranged to show him in a more favorable light. The jury is still out, but the situation doesn't look at all good for the leaker. Until Cenat files his lawsuit, fans will continue to speculate on clips and screenshots. Even if the suit gets filed soon, it could be months before we have a clearer picture of what really happened between these two. It may get uglier before it's resolved.
