MrBeast's Rumored Amazon Series Comes With A Huge Payday

MrBeast is already at the top of the heap when it comes to YouTube, but reports say he's setting his sites on another lucrative platform: Amazon Prime. The YouTuber definitively proved last year that he has what it takes to be one of the biggest names in entertainment, overtaking PewDiePie as the most-followed content creator on YouTube. Rumors surrounding his next steps in the biz have been bubbling for a while now, with many suggesting that he's been working to develop a TV series.

According to Matthew Belloni of Puck News, MrBeast is close to signing a massive 100 million dollar deal with Amazon Studios to produce a television program for Amazon Prime. The show will also apparently have a unique release schedule, with the pilot episode of the series first premiering on MrBeast's channel before making its way to Amazon. While this plan might sound unorthodox at first, it actually makes perfect sense when considering MrBeast's recent social media activity.

MrBeast has shown that his eyes are on new platforms

MrBeast is not opposed to testing the waters on new platforms, as he proved to viewers in recent weeks. After being told numerous times to try hosting his content on X (formerly Twitter), MrBeast uploaded his video "$1 Car vs $100,000,000 Car" in a post on the social media site. The YouTuber appeared to be pleasantly surprised by the number of views the video racked up on X, and he's indicated to his followers that he may consider X as an additional revenue source in the future. In fact, MrBeast has already revealed that he made well over $250,000 from this video. However, he noted that uploading to X doesn't guarantee success for all content creators. "Advertisers saw the attention it was getting and bought ads on my video (I think) and thus my revenue per view is prob higher than what you'd experience," MrBeast explained.

Not much is known about the Amazon's show's content at this time, other than Matthew Belloni's report saying that it will feature competition elements. Fans of MrBeast's YouTube channel might not find this twist too surprising, since MrBeast has been known for throwing game show elements into some of his bigger videos. We'll be sure to keep an eye out for any updates regarding MrBeast's TV show. If things go MrBeast's way with X and the Amazon deal, fans could be looking at a future where he's more visible than ever.
