Even after the credits roll, "Pokémon Scarlet" and "Violet" have plenty of rare creatures, items, and collectibles to keep players scouring across every corner of Paldea. However, some players may be surprised to learn that a handful of useful items and exclusive Pokémon are actually available just by tapping a few buttons and accessing a certain feature from the game's menu: Mystery Gift.
The Mystery Gift function — in which players can access the internet or input codes to get special distributions such as rare Pokémon — has been a staple of the mainline "Pokémon" games since Gen 2 with "Pokémon Gold," "Pokémon Silver," and "Pokémon Crystal." Thankfully, it's still there in all its glory for "Pokémon Scarlet" and "Pokémon Violet," and it's been offering up a slew of undeniably enticing rewards since the pair of games released. A special Pikachu with the Flying Tera Type and the move Fly is available through the internet until February 28, 2023.

20,000 League Points can be obtained by inputting "READY4RA1D" as a code until January 31, 2023.

Sandwich ingredients can be obtained by inputting "HAJ1ME0R1G1NAL" as a code until January 31, 2023. This bundle includes 10 units each of Peanut Butter, Cream Cheese, Noodles, Rice, Prosciutto, and Hamburger.

The Adventure Set is obtainable via an emailed code for players who purchase "Pokémon Scarlet" or "Pokémon Violet" through the Nintendo eShop. It comprises 10 Potions, five Full Heals, three Revives, three Ethers, one Rare Candy, and one Nugget. Codes expire on March 7, 2023.

The Berry Set is available via a provided code for players who purchase "Pokémon Scarlet" or "Pokémon Violet" through Best Buy. It contains a Cheri Berry, Chesto Berry, Aspear Berry, Pecha Berry, Persim Berry, and Rawst Berry. Codes expire on March 7, 2023.

200 Poké Balls are available via printed codes for players who purchase the "Pokémon Scarlet" and "Pokémon Violet" Double Pack. These codes won't expire.
