Cyberpunk 2077: How To Get Rebecca's Shotgun
It's no secret that "Cyberpunk 2077" suffered from a troubled launch, but the game got a second wind two years later. CD Projekt Red has introduced sizable patches to the title, ironing out many of the bugs and glitches it suffered from. The "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" Netflix show made by legendary anime studio Trigger also met with success. To coincide with the release of the series, CDPR put out a massive "Edgrunners" update, adding new gigs, weapons, and content inspired by the anime.
The Netflix adaptation introduced the character Rebecca, a member of David Martinez' Edgrunning crew who he often treats as his second-in-command. The gun-happy muscle of the group, Becca's larger-than-life personality offsets her small stature. She utilizes a wide variety of pastel-colored weapons in the show, but she seems to love a pair of pink and green shotguns the most. She shows off with one at a party after the crew completes a job and later uses the other to save David's life when he gets distracted in the middle of a firefight. The "Edgrunners" update allows players to get one of these iconic weapons in "Cyberpunk 2077." Here's where to find it.
Snag Rebecca's shotgun from the bushes near the Militech building
As documented by content creator sixburn gaming, "Cyberpunk 2077" players should start at Arasaka Tower and then head up the stairs to the left of the building and over to the southern part of Memorial Park in Corpo Plaza. They'll see an area near the Militech building where massive holograms of blue and orange Koi fish swim through the air. Players should then proceed forward until they reach a glass ceiling that runs over the highway below. If they head straight across this ceiling toward the Militch building they will end up in a small plaza with hedges running to either side. Facing the Militech building, go to the right between the hedges and the overpass ramp and Rebecca's shotgun will be nestled under a bush right beside the hedges.
In "Cyberpunk 2077," this shotgun is called Guts. It's an Iconic version of the Budget Arms Carnage shotgun that shoots Chemical rounds and occasionally applies the Poison status effect to targets. It also fires three more ricochet projectiles than the original variant, but is less accurate and has a heavier recoil. It's a powerful weapon, especially for those who find it in the early stages of the game, and its tendency to spray big bullets everywhere makes it a worthy tribute to the character.
